My attending an "open house" at Lepre Wellness Center was the beginning of a relationship that is now a very important part of my weekly routine. As a diabetic, I noticed that over a period of years there had been a subtle gain of weight that I chalked up to the "part of aging" excuse along with a list of petty pains and aches that weren't always there. In a word, I had become sloppy in my control of the disease. The folks at Lepre Wellness Center have taught me how to regain control of the way I look and feel through a variety of classes that are engaging, fun, and effective. Over the course of several months, I have lost considerable weight, gained strength, and most importantly, have my glucose numbers under excellent control. As an added incentive to keep it up, my doctor took me off some of my meds and offered the hope of discontinuing all of it. I'm going for the gold!!!

Dear Lepre Wellness Center Staff:

I’d like to inform you that my wife and I have been involved in the Gravity Training Program for over a year and a half and are very pleased to report that we have noticed an appreciable increase in our strength and endurance from this Program. We have been participating between 2 – 3 days per week and find this group activity (usually 4 participants), led by a Personal Trainer with music to exercise by, a great way to stay in shape! When we’ve had to miss sessions due to illness or vacation time, we definitely feel the need to get back in shape. In addition, the Gravity Machines, due their many variable height adjustments, are easy on the back and are able to accommodate everyone’s tolerance levels. I thank you for making these fine classes available, which are now part of our weekly routine.

In addition, recently we enrolled in your “Take Shape For Life Program”. As part of that, we’ve started the Medifast meals and have noticed some amazing results. In four short weeks, I have lost 19 pounds and my wife has lost 14 pounds. Even though it is recommended that we add additional exercise to our routine (after 2 weeks), we’ve accomplished this with our same regime and only now have we started walking on the treadmill. For many years, we’ve tried unsuccessfully to lose weight and in the meantime, have outgrown many of our clothes. This of course has been a frustrating and depressing experience. Well, we are now both quite excited and hope to lose a little more weight before we start our transition part of the program. This is where we will start weaning off some of the Medifast meals and learn to eat healthy so we keep the weight off. We are committed to making these healthy lifestyle changes for our long term benefit. Again, we appreciated you making these valuable Programs available to us and wish your other clients the same healthy results!
